Our Hudson and Trinity offices draw blood right in the office for adult patients. Your results go directly to your provider and are available in your patient portal, and your provider follows up on anything that needs attention.

During the draw: A team member cleans a spot on your arm, places a band above it, and uses a small needle to collect blood into tubes. Most people feel a quick pinch. The draw itself usually takes only a few minutes. Let the team know if you have felt faint during past blood draws so they can help you stay comfortable, such as lying down.

After the draw: A bandage is placed over the spot. Keep light pressure on it for a few minutes to reduce bruising. You can return to normal activities and eat if you were fasting. Results are sent to your provider and posted in your patient portal. Your provider reviews them and follows up on any results that need attention, either at your next visit, through the portal, or by phone.
